Company Status

In 2020, Implant Preservation Devices B.V. (IPD) was established, in cooperation with University Medical Center Leiden, the Netherlands, and NLC Health Ventures, Amsterdam NL, to further develop a niche innovation, prepare for commercialisation and professional market launch. Due to the nature of this novelty product and the uniqueness in the problematic area of infection treatment with metal implants, the position of IPD will have an added value for any surgeon treating patients with Prosthetic Joint Infection (PJI) and Fracture Related Infections (FRI).
IPD expects market launch in 2027. In the meantime we focus on clinical evidence and prepare for CE-marking and FDA approval.
